Some fantastic tips here, some of which may even be new to those who have owned a 5E3 for years. This video could almost rate as the "operators manual" that didn't come with your Tweed Deluxe. 8)

Have fun with it, I know I did.

Great video Snowy. Thanks. Some of it I knew about, some of it I had no clue. One thing I do know is the tonal variations are amazing for such a simple circuit. Some people say that P90's and Humbuckers don't sound good through a 5e3, but nothing can be further from the truth.

That is a great video, Snowy. Thanks for posting it. Along with this one from the same source, I found them very helpful and informative to me in exploring tones with my recent purchase.

Here's my latest and first experience with a 5E3, a Boothills Amp kit built for me by a 3rd party (since I'm unable to do so.):
Fender '57 Deluxe Head Clone, my Epi Wildkat w/ TV Jones pups, and a simple pedalboard.

Thanks, Supro....it's simple too and that's appealing to me. (Too much gadgetry and too many knobs can mess me up live!   )

Congrats on the amp, it certainly is a sweet rig. I think you'll love the Deluxe, it's a real player's amp, everything from gorgeous cleans through to the best overdrive on the planet and a touch sensitivity like no other amp. Your setup looks like it's taking care of business just sitting there. 8)
