Hello guys, recently I got the chance to buy a marshall 1960BV at a very good price (around 600$) although I don't own any amp head. Since I have the SCXD, I was wondering if it is possible to run it through this cab. This is my first cab and not very clear about impedances and wattage, hope you guys could help me. Thanks in advance.

I don't have specs; Look on your owner manual

Super champ have one speaker , most Fender speaker ( if not all ) are 8 ohms so your output impedance is 8 ohms.
Better to stay close to that . What is your Marshall cab impedance?

Many Fender amps can go down to 4 ohms.

If your Marshall is 8 ohms and you keep you Super Champ speaker plug , both speaker = 4 ohms it may be safe or Marshall cab alone .
If your Marshall is a 16 ohms = too high impedance to work alone on your SC.

Power ; any power will work safely

If you get a Weber Z-Matcher these you can run any cab you want. I run all kinds of cabinets with my 76 Champ. It's amazing how six watts sounds through 12" speakers. I would skip the internal speaker altogether and just run the Marshall cab. With impedance mismatch you lose power and tone. Some people like the sound, I don't. It's all personal choice. The Marshall cab according to the specs are 4 ohms or 16 ohms mono, 8 ohms stereo. Not quite sure how that works out, but the Z-Matcher would fix it.
