I have a DRRI with some of the deepest reverb I've ever heard. I use the amp in my studio with the reverb tank removed from and a couple feet from the amp to avoid feedback, etc. I have a chance to use this amp live in a situation where I wouldn't need to use reverb at all. Could I just disconnect the cords that go between the amp and tank and leave the tank behind? Obviously, I'd have no reverb, but could cause any damage to the amp? Would I have to be careful to keep the reverb knob on '0'? thanx!

Can't damage the amp ,but could make noise .

Just disconnect wires from the back panel leave in the cab

Do you have the footswitch? If so, can't you simply switch off the reverb and leave everything normal? Or have you tried this?

Yes use footswitch to switch reverb off

Just remove V3 , no more reverb
