Just bought this amp, great amp. I have a 2007 blackface and it's a great sounding amp too. The cabinet larger than the 68 Custom and w/tilt back legs. One question for current owners:

What is meant by "the custom channel has a modified Bassman® tone stack that gives modern players greater tonal flexibility with pedals." ??

Still experimenting with the amp. On the vintage channel, volume at 5, bass 5, treble 3, bright switch off this amp shines for the tone I prefer, w/Stratocaster guitar volume around 6-8. On the Custom channel, really nice sound too with the same settings. I find the amp really gets loud starting around 4-5, lots of volume and creamy tone from this amp. I use delay, chorus and reverb pedals and add a boost sometimes for quick jump in volume or add just a touch of overdrive. Usually A/B my amps, for example the Vibrolux w/Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III. Great bottom and classic Fender tone. Very pleased so far with this amp. Nice work Fender.
