Hey everyone, long time no see. Hope everyone is well mentally, physically and are prospering. So I have a question about my Supersonic Twin 100 auto bias lights. After power on and post, the bias lights come on and stay green and all is good, but...

One day I was standing behind the amp playing and I noticed the two middle bias lights would occasionally flash while remaining green, like while in standby warming up. Once I saw that I began to monitor for it and it happens regularly. the two middle lights begin to flash off and on green and then remain lit green. I can't say it happens with any time consistency. I am in arena mode using all 100 watts with prudent gain and volume knob usage. I checked for rattling lose tubes, everything seems seated.

Anyone else notice this with their sstwin100? Can anyone say this is a hard failure to come or is this normal behavior? my suggestion going forwards is never look at the bias lights unless your ears tell you to do so. :lol:

so watta ya all think?

I never work of this amp , just look a schematic few minutes.

Is the 2 center tubes begin to worn out ? Put them each side and watch what happened .

Or bias circuit fail ?

I see that with Google ;

middle of the screen , read " Realibility and durability "

According to the manual, this is normal.

LEDs scan left to right: The amplifier is warming up (takes approximately 1 minute).
LED is solid green: The tube is OK and the bias matches the selected bias temperature(WARM/NORMAL/COOL).
LED is blinking green: The tube bias does not match the selected bias temperature.
This may happen for individual tubes from time to time while the automatic bias system is adjusting the bias. It usually will take less than 20 seconds to reach to the target bias and for the LED to go back to solid green. If the LED continues to blink after 5 minutes, its bias setting is beyond the range of the automatic bias and this tube should be replaced.
LED is red: The tube has failed or is missing.
LED is orange: The tube has shutdown. A tube may shutdown when the other tube in the pair (1A/1B) or (2A/2B) is bad or missing.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
