I bought my brand new Deluxe Reverb Amp in April, 2014 and use it for practice almost every day for about an hour or more. The sound is so clear and clean. But just tonight the sound started to slightly fade a bit in and out. I am using a relatively new American Standard Strat through the regular input jack on the upper left side as always. Any idea what could be wrong? Do the tubes only last 6 months?

yes spisarcik, it could be a tube issue. Mine was a demo amp. It was in the shop for about 6 months before I bought it. The shop I bought it from takes good care their demo gear too. But I had 2 microphonic 12ax7s. I could have had them replaced under warranty but I chose to buy a whole new set of my tubes of choice. I keep the good originals as backup. One thing I would try first would be to make sure the tubes are seated well before going any further.

ps It's always wise to unplug the amp before messing around in the back.
