I just picked up a used '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. The reverb and tremolo work in booth the 'Normal' and 'Vibrato' channels on this amp. According to everything I've read, the 'Normal' channel is supposed to be dry, and the Reverb and Tremelo should only work on the 'Vibrato' channel. Is my amp normal or is it possible it was modded in some way to allow for the reverb and tremolo to work on both channels? It sounds FANTASTIC by the way...

It's had a very simple mod that any good amp tech can do in 1/2 hour. Clip one resistor and run a jumper wire.

I don't hear much of a difference in volume. The Normal channel is 'warmer' and more bluesy. The Vibrato channel has a little treble and bite. Both sound fantastic depending what guitar and overdrive pedal I'm using. All 4 inputs are very useable in different situations. I'm the 3rd owner, so I'm guessing original owner must have done the mod. By the way, it also has a 75w Greenback in it. I run a Cmatmods Brownie into it along with a Fulltone Plimsoul. It sounds absolutely fantastic. Best sounding amp I've ever owned, hands down !
