Hey all.

I recently picked up a Fender Champion 100, and while I love it, I am having pretty severe noise issues. Everything I plug into it goes microphonic... from a low end cable which will pick up the smallest tap to a high end cable that is silent on anything else. Shielded, unshielded, high end, low end, pedals, no pedal, either channel, any guitar. Plus, behind that is a quiet high-end squeal and some static.

Gigging a few nights ago, it was picking up everything from everywhere. I had to use the lead guys backup amp.

Has anyone else had this issue, fixed this issue or is it time to ship it back for warranty work?

It sounds like a warranty issue to me. My Champion 100 new out of the box was noticeably quieter than my Frontman 212R, but after a few weeks I started having problems similar to what you are describing. Fender covered it under warranty.
