Hello -

I have a Champion 110, circa 1994 (!), that often cuts out after a short time of playing, regardless of whether I'm using the clean or gain switch. However, it does not cut out when I'm using headphones. Also, the volume may come back on if i crank the dials up all the way, or if I give it a loving smack on the side.

I tried cleaning the pots with Deoxit, but that didn't solve the issue. Is it a power supply issue, or perhaps a loose connection somewhere else?

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. Thanks

This is a link to the service manual. The last two pages are the schematic and the layout diagram. Thanks.

Oh, and the speaker connections were physically secure. I don't know if there's anything else to check on those connectors.
