I am an owner of the 50 watt evh 5150
I would like to know if could be good for me switching to the 100 watter?

my only problem with the 50 5153 is about sharing ch1 ch2 gain
I play stuff like metallica and sometimes is hard to switch in some songs from clean to distortion and have the same volume

You could use a midi fx and set a patch to boost the clean channel when you need it.
