Hey out there,
Looking for a schematic for a late 90's,
maybe 2000, guitar amp.
This is a Fender Super...not a Super Concert
or Sonic series type.
The cab has 4-10's.
These are not shown on the Fender website.
Hard to contact by email for help, other than
Consumer Relations....
Thanks anybody!

stratele52,
Man thanks a bunch.
Forgive me but what is PM?
The schematic was on the AmpWares site.
It is called Super Pro Tube...go figure!
Let me know what PM is.
I was able to download the schematic.
I need to figure out why when you let any string
continue to ring out, there is a trailing off buzz.
Similar to a distortion.
Thanks again!

PM is a Private Message

Did you find your schematic on Ampwares ?
Super, Pro Tube series , not same as Super

Are you sure it is the amp ,not the guitar ?

The amp : tubes , bad solder in power supply ......

stratele52,
The Ampwares seem to be the correct schematic.
I will check closer bye comparing it more closely...
I did find a a 1000uf@35v radial that the bottom up end was swollen.
replaced it...no difference.
The owner changed out all the tubes, tried the amp through different speaker cabs.
No difference...still a distortion as a note or chord plays.
The distortion has gotten to be more so after changing that cap as above.
These Supers are a pig to remove the circuit board.
Anyway onward through the fog.
My email is kracked@swbell.net.
Thanks again!

You said owner change all tubes , is this mean they are brand new tubes ?
Ii is not your amp , you have to fix it for somebody ?
Do you have some electronic skill ?
Did somebody work inside this amp before ? Some wire may need to be dress .

1- You should try know good tubes , don't trust owner
2- Bias check and adjust if needed on Outputs tubes
3- B+ voltage reading with tester when playing guitar , did they drop ?
4- All solder in Power supply rail must be check
5- Check phase inverter circuit resistors and solder

Show me the link of the schematic you are looking on Ampware

" I need to figure out why when you let any string continue to ring out, there is a trailing off buzz. "

IMHO, this sounds like the main power supply filter caps may need replacing. Are they original?

On Pro Tube series .... yes IMO

Fitler caps are in the Power Supply and IMO , something wrong in Power Supply .
