Cupcake?
What an odd thing to say.

No photoshop, really?
What's the huge digitech pedal thing in front of the player?
Is that you playing?
The players lighting, contrast, color balance, look like they are from a different picture taken somewhere else. Given the intensity of the light hitting the guitars and the player there's very little shadow cast on the wall.
My eyes went right to it cause it looks very odd.

If there isn't any photoshop, then that's one very odd picture, muffin. :D

You're kidding.....right?

The "player" is Eric Clapton, and it is a cardboard cutout, as is the pedal. Cardboard being a generic term for some type of corrugated material.

You're such a bagel.

Correct, shimmilou. "Eric" is actually a life-size promotional stand-up for the Digitech Clapton pedal. I got it from our local music emporium on the day they closed their doors forever after some 28 years in business. There was companion Jimi stand-up for Digitech's Hendrix pedal as well but my buddy beat me to it.

As for the doubting assclown, let him massage his wand while salivating over my collection. Pinheads come and pinheads go -- he'll be gone soon enough.

Well, I can give him a newbie pass this time, depending on how he responds to the razzing.

That's a shame about not getting the Jimi one, as the pair would make perfect bookends. :(

I've called Nathan several times in an attempt to wheedle him out of it but every time I do, he tries to wheedle me out of the Eric mannequin.

How about the razzing that king poster can't handle? :)
Seems he jumps to name calling as soon as someone simply questions something he posts as if he should not be questioned.

Take a look at the posts again. I just did.
He took one comment about him and completely ignored everything else so he can dwell on that comment.
Perhaps I should have edited my post better and left out the "..good bit..." and just used "..a bit of...."

His reaction is the proverbial mountains and mole hills.
I'm no newbie to the world of amps and guitars.
Just new to this Fender forum, so no need for anyone to assume anything.
:)

I've read way too many posts by him that are quick to judge and condescending.
So if my simply in jest comment about photoshopping so easily rattles his cage then that's his problem. He's handled it very poorly with his condescending commentary.

Right. :)
I know that's EC, and that's why it looked PS'd to me.
So I suggested the photo may be photoshopped due to that and the really large pedal.

Thanks for the clarification on "cardboard", you crusty scone. :D

The name calling is completely uncalled for. As for who the A-clown is, I'll go with you and you're overreaction.

You can read, but your reading comprehension is clouded by your inability to not infer your own feelings into others posts.
Then read the comment, re-posted below, as it was intended and not in the tone you gave it just so you can get angry, name call, and argue with.

"If there isn't any photoshop, then that's one very odd picture, muffin. :D"

See there? There is an "If, then" statement. There is not a cocksure remark arguing that you are full of BS and that that picture is absolutely PS'd.
It IS an odd picture due to a couple of elements that you could have easily and politely explained.

I even put "muffin" and a smiley face to return the baked product you called me.
The smiley was there to try and make sure that you understood the good nature of it.
But, NO. Seems that you calling me "cupcake" was intended as insult, so you then read my comment negatively.
Well bud, that's on you, cause you've chosen to go overboard with the name calling and whacked sexual imagery.

I'm sure your vanity won't allow you to accept this, but I in no way salivate over that overly done collection of amps, which no one but perhaps an old school music store would need.

OK Cupcake  , and I say that jokingly, Cool Down. Let's not chase another valued poster away. Sometimes it is good to sift thru what content is given. The poster does have a lot of valuable input most of the time and we all have our good and bad days. We all are human and can have times we take something we see in print wrong where if we heard the exact same thing in person the personal inflections make the statement different. I am guilty of assuming the wrong meanings especially on Face Book that friendship destroyer!

Thank you for reasoned and rational response.

I may have taken his comment in the wrong way, and for that I accept my responsibility. As well, I think he took mine the wrong way too.
As I wrote, I attempted to judge his intent, but I think he took that as some form of threat as well.

I came to this forum not get into a misunderstanding and ensuing discord, but to read peoples comments, knowledge, and experiences with Fender products that I could benefit from. And also to give my own experiences and knowledge that may benefit someone else.
It would be great and best if we can go back to discussing amps and things.
