It's the best sounding amp I have ever owned. Pictured below with my American Deluxe Stratocaster. $3000 worth of guitar and amp sounds so much better than $1000 worth does!

Arjay

Congrats! I feel the same way about my 60W Supersonic and I got it at a discount. $1100 and depending on which guitar I have plugged I can have over $3000 in use. I have tried many Twins and they are nice as long as my old back doesn't have to lift one! :)

My buddy has a made in Mexico strat and a Fender Mustang amp. Don't get me wrong, they sound great, but you can tell the difference.

25 years ago I used to play through a Fender Super Twin Reverb. My dad had a Fender Twin. I don't know if I am a lot stronger than I was then or what, but it wasn't nearly as heavy as I was expecting. lol

Congrats on a nice rig, it doesn't get better than that - Strat + Twin.

At 180 watts, the Super Twin Reverb weighed close to a hundred pounds -- yours is prolly about twenty-five pounds lighter.

The only Twin I can carry now is a Twix bar.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I lugged that super twin around for years, and it's probably why nobody hears me complain about carrying stuff, because it all seems light to me after that! lol

Indeed.

I played an ultra-linear Twin Reverb with factory JBL's exclusively for about 25 years, then a TRRI. The weight difference between those two was like night and day. Then I downsized to a Deluxe Reverb or Vibroverb for stage work which further lightened the load by a significant measure. There's just not much need for a 100-watt amp anymore.

Nice rig! Congrats! :D I just bought a '59 Fender Bassman LTD Vintage Reissue amp and have photos of that on the Fender Lounge board. Look for the "Posting photos to website" thread and go to the second page,...scroll down, and you'll see her along with my MIM Standard brown sunburst Strat! I have close to $2,800.00 invested in gear now when you add on my Hot Rod Deluxe III amp which I still have, and a small Champion practice amp.
I need at LEAST one more Strat!
