You must remember, that if most people on this forum were to have a brain MRI done, there would be 12AX7's in the front images and 6L6's in the rear images. And if anything green was in there, it would need to be removed.

That's why.

People need to make room in their brains for something other than tube amps. They are for snobs looking for excuses why their tone sucks. Easy to blame tubes when your talent sucks.

My sole purpose was merely an attempt to ease the growing tension by way of comic relief.

I am biased toward glass bottles myself, having seen them replaced by a "solid state wave" in years past, only to see them reappear within the masses of amateur working musicians because of the tone they can produce in the right amplifier, in the right hands, that can't be reproduced by a transistor.

+1000

And neither of them attached to or associated with a Frontman 15G amp.

Someone should notify the Reverend Billy and Yngvie that they've been doing it wrong for all these years.

This person obviously has never played on stage before by thinking buying a little bigger amp would fix his problem not being able to hear himself.

+1000!

The same mentality employed by a nerd who thinks that dumping $5K worth of tuning crap into his Subaru Outback will help him score more poontang.

Being the skeptic that I am, the whole thing sounds made up. I just picture Pee Wee Herman showing up with his ultra cool Affinity Strat and this toy amp and playing Tequila while wearing white platform shoes.

Don't forget the Elton John designer glasses with the oversize lenses and the purple-sparkle frames.

Whatever. Why everyone thinks you need a $2000 amp loud enough to wake the dead to play out is foolish and ridiculous.

Nope, you need an amp that at least is modeling or, even better, has tubes. Anything else might as well be a childs toy, this includes all frontmans. Sorry about reality.

Hey Kyle, which one should I choose......?
