Hello guys.

Good day to you.

I'm having problems with my Fender Pro Junior 3. When I'm playing for around 5 minutes (Volume=3, Tone=6), I'm getting a loud screaming sound somewhat the same like a feedback sound. This happens everytime I use the amp. Is this due to a busted tube? I checked the tube and they are all still glowing. The tubes are still clear and not cloudy.

Thanks for the help.

Might a microphonic tube , tap gently each tube with light volume , the one doing noise might be the bad one .

Amp is on warranty. ? If yes bring back to the store,

Tube glow do not mean it is good or bad

Thanks relic and stratele52.

The amp contains dual preamp and power tubes. If one tube needs replacement, do I need to replace the other tube? I still have to check which tube causes the noise.

Thanks.

reinbukog, replace both el84 power tubes at the same time with a fresh matched pair.
