Hi I have a Roc Pro 1000. I have always carried out my own servicing and repairs on the various amps I have had over the years. On the test point data testing the AC is simple but on the DC side eg test point 31 - it says 6.9 vdc 'RED' , 14 vdc 'Yellow' and 600 mvdc 'Clean'.
Could someone clarify what the Red, Yellow and Clean is representitive of............... It's my 1st Fender

Also I notice the tube looks like it is soldered to the board. Is there a suitable socket I can purchase to fit the board? I would like to try different manufacturers tubes to compare the sounds.

Thanks Guys

Joe

I did not know RocPro 1000 , I look at schematic few second ; TP31 is input 6 on U8B

Did you have any led with color changing when switching to red , yellow ... ?

Like "Gain " Drive " ?

IMO input pin 6 voltage change when push some switch .

Why do you want to replace socket ? Broken ? Tubesnadmore mays have some

It is soldered to the printed board .

This amp is full of solid state with only one tube . IMO is a waste of money to try other tubes , Too much solid state .
