My '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb has a very nice sounding reverb, but even on '10' it isn't very deep. My other Fender amps ('65DRRI and Supersonic) have reverb deep enough to swim in. Would changing either or both of the reverb tubes have any effect on the actual depth of the reverb?

I'd like to know the answer this as well. I have a Twin Reverb reissue and I love the reverb as well but wish it could go even deeper. It's pretty vast now, but more is always better right?

Why not try it and see? It is possible that a tube or tubes are weak, or that a different brand might work better. It is also possible that the reverb is working as designed.

In that instance, a tank with longer delay may produce the desired result.
