Hi. So straight to the point. I blew my guitarist amp speakers (Frontman 212R) with my jazz bass even thought it was below 1 on volume and low on my guitar so we suspect that it was not just that as he got it dirty cheap second hand(but it sounded perfect before so my bad I guess). So my question is where I can find(ebay or international shipping websites) such 2 x 12'' 8 ohm speakers that can fit and not really expensive ?

I like the Eminence Patriot series. I have a Red White and Blues in a solid state Fender amp. My buddy tried playing bass through it and it held up fine.

Parts Express is a good vendor in my experience.

For a little less money, look at Jensen MOD 12-50 speakers. A pair on Ebay

For about same price, I'd go for the Wizard. Loudest most efficient speaker avail..

Damn, by looking up the prices they aren't really worth it compared to the price he payed for it(150$) .I'll keep digging for 2nd hand but doubt I will find.

I doubt that the speakers were blown, especially at such a low volume. Are you sure it's the speakers and not the amp that's blown? Have you tried the amp with other speakers?

Pretty sure. The amp now rattles from time to time when you play with guitar. 100% sure otherwise if we blew smth else it would not even play ?

Price looks right on these vintage organ speakers. I have no idea how they would sound. It would be a fun experiment.

Ebay - Rola 12" speakers
