I have recently just bought one of the mini twin amps to mess about with and i thought i was getting a toy my mistake. For what this amp is, it is a belter to play around with i really enjoy the early breakup at low volumes makes playing late at night a breeze. The problem i am having is that i like this amp so much i dont want to put it down, but i would like to get a more fuller volume out of this pup so was thinking about connecting it up to a speaker cabinet via the headphone socket is this possible or am i dreaming? i was thinking about making my own speaker cab as i have a couple of celestions knocking about. i was thinking a 1 x 12 cab would be fine for this so before i went off into construction i thought i would give it a try. i wired a cable to the speaker and put a 1/4 jack socket on the end and plugged a lead from the headphone socket into this. I got no sound no buzz no nothing! All the equipment is checked and in working order the speaker is a celestion G-12 -65MG it is rated at 50watts 8ohms. I believe it came out of a marshall mg250dfx. am i just wiring this wrong or is it just not possible somebody please help.

Thanks in advance
