Fender '65 Twin Reverb Reissue . . .
Serial number is AC 100610. This would indicate it was made March 1990, but they didn't come out 'till 1992.
Power rating is 360W instead of the more common 260W.
It has a NOM sticker which I understand to mean it was approved to be sold in Mexico.
The power and standby switches have rubber "covers".
On the paper tube chart there is no number, just a blank line.

So when was it made? Why the different anomalies? What have I got.

Fender began shipping TRRI's in 1991. The serial number has nothing to do with the build date but it does indicate that it was manufactured in Corona, California.

Is there a "polarity" switch on the rear panel? What brand of speakers?

This power rating is not output power

Is the power amp use from the wall outlets

Rule of tubs ( is it right to say that ? ) ; Clean output power is close to 1/4 input power in watts

It's "rule of thumb", Stratele.

I know what Power Rating is. I've been playing 49 years, instrument repairman for 25, owned a music store, I only mentioned it because that is how it is labeled on the chassis. It is however, the only TRRI I've researched on the web that shows that as the power consumed. All others are 260W. Seems kind of odd.
And no, there is no polarity switch.
The speakers are after market Jensen Neo's.

No need polarity switch with 3 prong cord and it is not safe to reverse polarity with 3 prong

I suspect he was asking to help "date" the amp. '65 twins had "ground" switches.

Now that I'm fairly confident it is an early model (nice!) , , I am mostly curious about the NOM sticker. Never seen that before. And the rubber covered switches.

If I'm not mistaken, when Fender first released the 65 reissue Twins, it was to be a limited run of 300. Later they saw how popular they were and put them into full production. Could you have one of the original 300 reissues? There might be info out there about what to look for to check and see how those 300 are different than the later ones. Good for you if you do!!

The polarity switch was a feature of all re-issue Twin Reverbs up until about 2005/2006 (just as it was with the early DRRI) as this photo clearly shows......

This example from my collection was built in 1999. TRRI's were first built in the old Sunn plant in Lake Oswego, Oregon and have serial number's prefaced with "LO". I believe that production shifted to Corona around 1996.

Check the EIA codes stamped on the trannies -- from them it will be possible to determine the approximate date that your amp was assembled. You'll be looking for a series of digits prefaced by "606" (the EIA codex assigned to Woodward-Schumacher).

There is a QC stickier on the back of the amp (or should be), on Arjays and others it is on the upper right of the chassis visible on the back. The code on it will tell you the month and year of mfg. A=Jan and A=1990...you should be able to decipher it from there.

HTH.

The ground switch was not connected on any of the Reissue Ampson which it appears IIRC. Which makes you wonder why they put it on, other than the guy ordering the parts off the paperwork inherited from the old days showed it and the guy didn't make the connection of it not being needed!
