OK, meanwhile back at the Ranch...

Just pull V5 and V6 (as Shimmy stated being the reverb driver and recovery tubes). Does the "squeal" noise go away? If so, just get new tubes. If not, you most likely have another tube(s) problems.

You might want to clean the reverb cable rca connectors with Deoxit making sure you don't mix up the order they were plugged in. Some issues occur when they get dirty. Then try substituting the tubes and also try cleaning the tube sockets and pins of the tubes.

V5 and V6 are not the reverb driver and recovery, V9 and V10 are the correct tubes. V6 is the Phase Invertor. V9 driver is 12AT7 and V10 recovery is 12AX7A. If you try to change V5 and V6 it has nothing to do with the reverb. The V9 and V10 are correct!

What schematic is that?

Super-Sonic_Comb.pdf I downloaded from Fender in 2010 when I bought the amp.

Very interesting there are different variations from the circuit for the SuperSonic 100 and the Super-Sonic Combo from 2010. I wonder which the SuperSonic Twin matches the most? The Supersonic 100 is V5 and V6 but the schematic does not state "Combo" in the title block. Time for more research! The 100 has the Biasing monitoring and the 60W Combo doesn't.

The new 100 Head and the Twin 100 with the Automatic Bias has caused a redesign of tube usage V9 being the PI tube now and V5 driver and V6 recovery. Puts a new spin on the usage. Match your amp to the correct Schematics to determine your course of action!

It most closely matches the schematic for......wait for it......wait some more.....maybe just a little more.....the Supersonic Twin. Not the 100, not the combo........

^Totally clueless^ (7 and 8 letter words)

The reverb driver is V5 (12AT7) and the reverb recovery is V6 (12AX7).

Schematic might be useful too:

Thanks to all for your advice and help. By the way, I'm totally lucid, drug free, alcohol free, and might be considered a nerd in some circles. Thanks to the veteran for your service to this country. I gotta be honest, I've never been profiled by a simple question. I'll be more careful next time. Good Day!
