Hi everyone;
Just got my amp 3 days ago.
I have read all the posts about the Blues Junior.
From what I understand the Treble, Bass, Middle just remove frequecies from the sound.
Volume is ????
Master is actually the Volume?
The FAT button makes it sound better at lower Master Volume.
Is the FAT transister based sound processing?

I really do like the amp. :D
I just want to understand it better.

Thanks for the replies.
I did read the manual it is only 2 pages.
I have also been playing with the settings and getting a feel for them.
Volume = gain.
I want to know what this means.
I hear a difference but what is happening electronicly.

Hello Joeymetro,

for a clean sound master 11-volume 1

For a gain sound master 1 -volume 11

and everything in between
Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Gain is another word for distortion. The master volume controls the overall volume and the regular volume controlls the distortion. Master- loudness and power tube distortion. Volume- Preamp tube distortion. Hope this helps :lol:

So you can dial in distortion without having to disturb the neighbors. Because remember, the power tubes distort also when pushed to a certain point just like the preamp tubes do.
