Finally received my Super-Sonic 212 cabinet today, and plugged in my brand new '65 DRRI Head about 1 hr ago....and voila...almost no sound. If I crank either the Normal or Vibrato volume to 10 I hear a slight amount of really distorted sound but that is not audible until about 5 (which should be when my doors start to get blown off).

No...I didn't turn on the amp without the cabinet plugged in
Yes...I swapped out speaker cables and guitar cables
Yes...I am using the External cabinet jack (obviously the internal one wouldn't make sense)

Before I take it back to the shop where I bought it (tomorrow) does anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions?

PS - I don't have another head to check that the cabinet is working and I don't have another cabinet to see if the head is working.

Thanks
Derek

Use the "internal" speaker jack, pilgrim.

Does that come from a certain technical place or are you just throwing out ideas?

Based on the tone and confident sounding endorsement of Arjay, I gave it a try. Bingo...it works! Doesn't really make sense from a jack labeling perspective but I don't give a crap at this point. It works....wooohoooo.

Tanks mang
