Hi

I'm having an issue with a Princeton 65 solid state I just bought.

When I turn up the reverb, it makes a loud noise, without reverb works fine.

I made some tests and can say that:

- I get the noise only when a jack is plugged in
- This happens also when no instrument is plugged on the other side of the jack cable
- This happens also if I disconnect the 2 RCA cables on the reverb tank
- There is just the noise, no reverb
- If I unplug the jack on the amplifier, I can turn up the reverb without getting the noise

Now my question:

It is the reverb tank?

Actually not sure, because if I disconnect the RCA cables I still get the noise.

Does it have something to do with power?

Also not sure, because it produces the noise just with the reverb.

I will be full of gratitude for any help on this.

Cheers

Andres
