I have a 2010 hot rod Deville 2x12 that crackles when first turned on. This only last approx. 20 sec. The amp still has all original caps, resistors, and tubes. Everything looks good. No budging or leaking in the caps, resistors look ok, and power and pre-amp tubes heat up nicely. This problem happens with standby on or off, doesn't matter. There is one loud pop right before cleaning up and acting right. I never have another issue with it once goes through the 20 seconds of noise.
I only play through the clean channel. I leave the drive channel off. Also I've tried it in instrument inputs 1 and 2 and with guitar unplugged all together.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

don72129,

Welcome to the Forum! :D

Try some good contact cleaner on the power and standby switch. I like Caig DeOxit GN5.
