Hi!
I just got a Supersonic 22. It's a bit hissy but mostly noticeable on bedroom levels. The burn/vintage switch pop is also audible at these levels. They disappear when I crank it up. When I connect my Boss gt 100 through the effects loop via 4 cable method both the hiss and pop disappears (if I set the volume control on the effect low and crank up the amp).

So my questions are:
You who have the switch popping fixed, does it totally disappear or is it audible?
Have anybody managed to fix the hiss (by tube swap, rebiasing or something else)? Is the "Fender fix" lowering the hiss?
Can someone explain to me what is happening when I connect the Boss in the effects loop and the hiss and popping disappears? (sorry if the answers are buried in other threads but I haven't found any recent threads at least).

If you plug a chord in the effects send and return and the issue goes away most time the issue is in the preamp which could be many different things. I would start with checking the preamp tubes
