I plan on using both at the same time tomorrow. I'm running them through a Radial Big Shot ABY box. I know others might have done this before. I like both amps but, I'll finally get the perspective on this comparison. My V1 PJ is a great thumper. This amp is really clean. Even though the BJ is a pretty nice amp. It has the creme board. One of the many limited edition NOS ones made. The PJ is made in Brea, California. The BJ is made further down from California in Ensenada Mexico. It will be a Jensen 12" ceramic versus a Weber Signiture 10" ALNICO. This should be pretty cool. They are both 15 watts. I will have them cranked and control the volume level with the guitar volume. I feel the BJ is a little closer to a more Fendery sound but, I love the way the PJ leans toward the Marshall side of tone. I'm a fan of the Hot Rod seiries. I have tried out the new MKIII Hot Rod Deluxe before last Christmas and, was pleasantly surprized that they still have an excellent tone. I'm sorry I don't feel this way about the new PJs.
