Hello everyone!

Well I finally upgraded my amp and have purchased my first tube amp. A Hot Rod Deluxe III and all I can say is how great it sounds through my American Deluxe HSS Stratocaster! I picked the amp up the other day along with an MXR Carbon Copy. Now I cannot stop playing, my fingers hurt and the fire is back.

Oh and does that thing get loud!

Cheers!

Jim

Congrats. I have one too and am very happy with it. I got it stock with a CRex speaker. It handles the power great and doesn't even think of farting. :D

I could share bed with it.

I put a JJ 5751 tube in V1. It helped this beast 'idle' a little better and mellowed it just right for me.

Thanks everyone.

It definitely is an enjoyable amp to play through. Definitely nicer than the Marshall I was using.

Agreed. I like 6L6's much more than EL34's.
