Couldn't seem to find a newbie welcome forum so I thought I'd say hello here since the Cyber Twin is the reason I joined up. I picked it up from a guy I work with and it came with the MIDI foot controller as well as an amp cover and padded carrying case for the floor unit. The amp is in excellent condition, not as much as a scuff in the tolex. I almost feel bad for only paying him $300 for it.

I'm from Virginia and played guitar when I was much younger. I then took about a 25 year break. I recently got back into the swing of things and have been taking private lessons since September.

I currently own more guitars than I really need. Among them is an MIM Stratocaster, an Ibanez RG920, an Epiphone Les Paul and a pair of Ibanez Destroyers. One is a 1985 DT-555 and the other is a new DT-520.

Along with my Cyber Twin, I also own a Marshall DSL40C, a Blackstar HT-1RH and a Marshall 1960A cabinet that I alternate plugging the DSL and my Blackstar into. I picked up the Cyber Twin yesterday and put the DSL up for sale this afternoon. I absolutely love the Fender.

I just wanted to say hi and I'll be lurking around to see what I can find out about my Cyber Twin.

Steve

Not a whole lot of love for the Cyber Twin here.

That's too bad. Is it because the Cyber Twin is junk, or just not a pure tube amp? That thread you pointed me too seems to have some enthusiasts.

Yeah there must be four or five of them.

Enough to start a bowling team anyway.

Welcome to the forum! The Cyber Twin has it's share of fans and at $300 you did fine. Several years ago I owned a Cyber Deluxe which was a decent amp but wasn't all that user friendly. One of the best blues guitarists in our area was a Cyber Twin user for years. Again welcome.
