Traded my BLDX and a EVH wolfgang special plus 130 cash. I didn't like the wolfgang too much, kind of dead sounding compared to my Gibson's. I wanted a better amp for my Bogner pedals. Prb would of looked into a Deluxe Reverb I did play one at GC and liked it, im happy to have a 212 again with the balls too boot! Sounds good at bedroom playing and when I get the chance im going to crank that baby! trem and reverb is real nice also. Hope it last! love the classic looks and takes me back in time:) Going to put a couple of my good preamp tubes to fine tune it. Has a nice top end and sound nice and full.

That's a fine amp you got there. Look forward to your evaluation of it after you have had a chance to really spend some time with it.

My reverb never worked! didnt try it at the store:( I checked the tubes on V3 v6 which are AT7 so I think the V3 is the reverb? cables are all plugged in right. I hear a slight hum when I turn the reverb switch on. You when you have the amp on its plugged into the amp with the cord but guitar it sounds like that. BTW I like the Custom channel for my pedals best. Whats the tube layout? pretty sure V1 is closest to the input

V3 is the reverb driver -- V4 is used for recovery. Inspect your cabling to and from the tank. The jacks and plugs are color-coded, check for correct installation.

You'll need a new tank.

The days of buying a new Fender amp on Friday afternoon and taking it straight to a gig that very same night are long gone. Even the expensive ones are now instant hangar queens.

:(
