I picked up a Vibro King the other day and she sounded absolutely perfect. I took a couple of hours off and when I fired her back up, no reverb. Switched the 6V6 with a known good working tube, even swapped out V1 and V2 with known good 12AX7's and no difference. Happened to have a spare tank and RCA cables and nada. Here's where it gets weird - put it all back to its original configuration and the reverb started working great! Played her for multiple days in a row, no problems - gigged out with her last night, no problems. Fired her up today, no reverb. Repeated what I did last time, but no luck. Would really appreciate some guidance on this issue. Thanks.

Sounds like a bad solder point(s) on the board or wiring to the sockets (or both). Prolly best to crack it open, pull the amp, and test for continuity.

Good luck!

+1

Start by checking for positive continuity of the reverb cables and the tank itself.

Something I forgot to mention, if I turn the Dwell, Mix and Tone all the way up, the is a faint clue of reverb. Having said this, still test as suggested?

Check wires from the reverb to the amp

I just pulled another set of RCA cables, along with a third tank that I had and same amount of nothing as I tried this right off the bat.

Thanks for your input.

You need to see a good tech to fix your amp now . Or if you want to open your amp to see if something look burn , broken ...Or check some plug in connector . Pull them and connect them few times to clean them .

And post some picture inside the amps.

some schematics here;
