Looks like Fender snuck this one into the lineup or I completely missed it the first time. Got my attention now though.

Indeed!

That's a nice looking, nice sounding package.

Perhaps there'll be one in my future......

Damn. I JUST got a Super-Sonic 22, now I'll have to find one of these to try out (as well as the "original" CVR)...

Funny, the Vibrolux isn't on the Fender website with the rest of the '68 series. I also can't find it on the Zzounds website or Musician's Friend. Is it actually being produced?

Looks like the video was only uploaded 5 days ago.

They pulled the same shtick with the other VM silverface models. The first quasi-official announcement occurred when several of them showed up on Ebay -- totally out of the blue. And as I recollect it was only one dealer (Music 123?) that had them listed.

That is a sweet sounding amp. Would have liked to here it cranked a bit more! ...40 watts, 2x10 speakers, verb on both channels...now that's worth a serious look see!

Wonder how different (if any) this is to the CVR.

Hopefully it will be VERY different...Every one of the Custom Vibrolux Reverbs I ever heard/played through were very disappointing...they looked awesome, and I love 40 watt amps with 2x10 speaker configurations (my main amp is a '63RI Vibroverb), but the CVRs always sounded messy, muddy and meh...

+1

Mud I can get for free, anytime it rains. I don't need to spend a thousand bucks for it at Guitar Circus.
