This is off-topic, but since most of my friends hang out in this forum, I decided to post it here.

After being out of work for 2 months (Second time in 2 years. Last time was for 5 months.), I have landed a new job. I start Monday 1/27. I will be on a contract supporting the see-eye-ay and will be working at a customer site. My full scope has been reactivated and I am good to go. 8)

I can't wait to start.

Thank God -- the tax base can always use an infusion of cash.

*Somebody* has to pay for my retirement!

Congratulations, Bill.

Unemployment is a great way to cut your tax burden, but it cuts everything else and is no fun. I'm glad to to giving my share back to the guvment again.

Good news. Enjoy your employment. Geting a job is like winning the lottery these days.

Bill,

+ 1,000

Glad to hear you are back among the employed. Being unemployed can generate some pretty uneasy feelings and the worry factor is greatly increased.

Thanks, guys.

I never served in the military like some of you, but I have supported all 4 major Intel agencies as a contractor for the past 35+ years and am proud of the work I have done and hope to do it for another 5 or 6 more years until I retire. :D

No, but I have former ExDCIA John McLaughlin's autograph and have met former DCIA directors Porter Goss (Not very friendly or well liked by the staff) and General Mike Hayden (VERY nice guy and a favorite of the staff. He and his wife sat in my 1964 Ford Galaxie convertible several years ago when I displayed it at the Family Day car show. I should have offered to let him drive it. ).

Cool!

The last time I was in the 7D60 office, Stanfield Turner's name was on the door.
