Hey guys!

I bought a Fender Champ 12 from a friend of mine. He got it from his Uncle, who plays guitar. I asked the Uncle where he got it, he said he got it from a friend of his during the late 80's. I got it for about $75. Since it's 12 watts, I plan to use it as a bedroom amp. It looks like it's been in a backyard tool shed for a decade, looking at its condition. But it works. All of its parts are original. The small pedal is also included. I haven't looked at the inner workings yet. I haven't dated the amp too. My questions are going to be noobish  , as this is my first taste of a tube amp :D (I own a Mustang III).

Now, for my questions:
1. What speaker should replace this with? What tubes also?
2. Is it worth restoring? The coverings are torn up, some of the metals are rusted.
3. Can I improve the reverb on this amplifier? I've lost hope on the OD Channel already.
4. Any tips on how to clean this thing? I've Googled some it, and people are using canned air. That's all I know, any others?

Just tell me if you have a problem seeing the pictures, or want to see more details.

Thanks in advance!

Just clean the tolex and chrome corners I guess it won't be the same amp .

Tolex ; I use Baking soda with water and nylon brush. Easy to rinse with a damp cloths.
Same fror the gril , gently with the brush and use a vucum after to remove dirt and baking soda .

keep it original , same speaker .......

These amps sound pretty beefy with a Celestion V30. If you can get the amp's OD function restored, you'll find some tasty treats with this speaker.
