Very nice Albert, there. Now, to be a REAL guitarist, can you do that left-handed? I mean anybody can do it right-handed.

Left-handed, no, but I do play it upside down with Albert's weird tuning :)

Cedar do you play it strung upside down?

Hmmmm....go off the rails much?

....just love going through 14 pages acting like a CBS censor....(not). If some of ya could keep it PG....this lowly excuse for a moderator would be thankful (as would my walgreen's issue glasses)

as far as the Vaporizer goes........as with anything, some will like, some won't.
Believe it or not, it's NOT the only thing R&D has been working on....which again....you may like and may not.

Hope yer having a nice weekend, regardless!

cheers,
rob

The Vaporizer is still Vaporware at the local guitar center.

They did have a lovely little 5w Blackstar.

 yes you've got a number of regulars who like to troll anyone in the modern amps forum who says they like a modern amp. It's no wonder the language gets a little out of hand sometimes.

 Some of us do have modern amps myself included. I even have a few solid state amps. You also have a bunch of not so regulars and youngsters who call people stupid because they like tube amps. Goes both ways. It's when someone takes a comment of their gear like someone insulted their mother that things get out of hand. It has nothing to do with modern vs. vintage. It great vs. not great/poorly designed gear that irks a lot of people.

Rob, who would have thunk a bottom-of-the-line amp would cause such a stir? Wonder if the Vibro-Champ caused drama when it came out in the 60's?

Thanks, for your patience.

Well, there's the single volume and two tone knobs for three pickups on the Strat, which is because it didn't "look right" with four knobs. And the string tree had to be added due to a function-follows-form design flaw, because Leo Fender liked the Croatian guitars with all the pegs on one side.
So Leo Fender wasn't immune.

I remember when it came out when I was a kid and thought it was pretty cool. The Champ was already legendary for recording. I don't think all the hollering came about until the headstocks got big on the Strats and the circuitry was "improved" on the Silverface amps.

They were veritably tumescent!

(see how I did that without cussing?)

I thought Rob was referring to being off topic.

Excellent demo video. With an SCX2 and a HRDIII providing my guitar tones, I would have have little use for the Vaporizer. Even less room to put it.

I am not knocking the Vaporizer. It is just not a tool for my sonic toolbox.
