Very nice! Is the back completely open for cooling? I assume that the entire assembly was rotated 90 degrees both latterally and transversely- correct?

What cab are you planning on using with this head?

Hello RVM lead,

Your correct on the rotations.

Correct, back is wide open.

Right now I'm still using the
NOS blues carcass and speaker as a cab.
Next month I'll build one when I get
a new speaker.

For any treehuggers this was made from
reclaimed lumber as the cab will be.

Cheers.

That looks great! You did an excellent job. Are you going to make a matching speaker cab?

Is that V-Pick laying there?

Hi Chet,

That absolutely is a V-pick.

I'm scrounging around at work
regularly looking for nice oak.
I stll need a few more board feet
to start the cab.

Cheers.

I knew it was, but I just had to ask.

That would look good sitting on a 2x12 with the speakers being stacked instead of side by side.

It looks great, but IMO tweed covering would look killer. I love a bit of tweed.

accent it nicely.

Hello Warpfield and All,

Yep, I turned the dowels out of Mahogany
from an old chair's legs.

The box is oak that was laying aroud
the rail yard where I work.

Well contrasted I thought.

Cheers.

I was considering making a cabinet for my old Fender Sidekick Reverb 35 which has become rather beat up over the years. I was thinking maybe aldor, mahogany or purple heart for the case and putting my Leigh Jig to work on some dovetail joinery.
