Hey people. A while ago, I was under the impression that the NOS tweed Blues Junior was a limited run. But apparently it's not. On a previous post I was told that it wasn't limited edition at all!

What's this all about - I mean, I'm in the UK so is it limited edition here and not over the pond? Everywhere I look it's discontinued, look:

Someone please enlighten me! I need a good amp for University and I want this one!

I think that it was limited edition because I can't find any NOS BJrs anywhere. However, they are making a BJr with a tweed cabinet but isn't stamped as NOS and doesn't have a Jensen C12K speaker.

Do you know of any links to sites that sell it? I got nothing.

Cos it's not listed on this site as a "new for 2008 amp"?

If someone from fender could help that'd be really appreciated!!

Hello Ed Mardell,

There was one at a local Guitar Center,
$529 but was missing the little plate
"Fender genuine Limited edition"

Still making them? I do not know.

Cheers.

I wouldn't ever panic about the avialibility of LE Hot Rod range amps.
There are Limited Editions in tweed and coloured Tolex issued at some point every couple of years or so. They're never effectively out of the stores for very long.

I'm just confused because someone ridiculed me for saying that they're LTD edition in a previous post..

Thanks very much guys!

I just bought a Blues Jr NOS from Guitar Center about a month ago. This amp is ONLY available from either Guitar Center or MusiciansFriend.com. Just an FYI: MusiciansFriend.com is owned by Guitar Center. I saw that MusiciansFriend had this amp at $499.99 wheras GC had it for 529.99$. However, when I spoke to the guy at GC, he adjusted the price and I got it for the online price + tax and ... they had a courier personally deliver it where I work.

How cool is that?

No, irritatingly. But I was thinking - my store is always calling up the UK stockist from Fender, and apparently THAT uk stockist gets its stuff from the factories in California, Mexico. So theoretically, I could go down my store and get them to order one... who knows. I'll pop down tomorrow and let people know.
