For the price of a few stompboxes you get an entire combo plus effects to boot. Well Played Fender, Well Played!

Arjay you are dubious of anything that isn't candle powered.

Candles work regardless of unpaid electric bills, politically-mandated rolling brown-outs, or a nation-wide grid-collapse due to an EMP or CME.

I was testing out a Custom Shop Light Relic Taos Turquoise Strat (Used, $2500 I think) at the GC in Bridgeton Mo today and a Champion 100 was the closest amp that was plugged in so I tried it out with the Strat. The amp had some usable tones, was pretty easy to dial in a good clean and it had a bit of shimmer even. I could see someone gigging with these amps. Is it a Blackface Super Reverb?...Nope, but it was a decent amp and looked to be pretty sturdy, especially for the price.

FWIW

T2

P.S. The Taos Strat was a VERY nice playing and sounding one. Nice V neck...might have considered it harder had it not been a relic!

+1 I'll either build or pick my own stompboxes, thank you. I never liked any of Fender's digital "studio quality" effects. To each his or her own. As long as you get what you want from it, it's all great.
