No matter how you slice it, the tubes have zero to do with the reverb. According to the OP, the amp was working, but the reverb was not. No way that loose tubes allowed the amp to work fine, yet kept the reverb from working.

I would have a close look at the tank itself, the cables and connections, and inspect all solder joints, before the reverb quits again, and it likely will. :idea:

And when it does, don't have some clown at Guitar Center "repair" it.

    Hi moparguy. Your thread resonates with a strong sense of déja vu. The same thing happened with my Blues Jr. but it was a matter of hours not months.

    I returned it and a while later bought the tried-and-tested floor model. Haven't had any problems since.
