Any advice on cleaning mold from tweed? My blues deluxe reissue has gotten moldy in the place i practice. Can the mold ruin my amp? Most of it seems to be on the cloth.

Yes it can, not just the tweed but wood underneath, speaker and electrical components as well. For the tweed, use carpet mold killer, dry the amp in a dry room with good heat and spray lysol to kill fungus.

Thanks for the advice i wiped most of it off with a hot damp cloth and some dish soap. I tried lysol but it came back last time. It doesnt look like its inside fortunally just on the tweed.

Yea you better nutralize that or it will keep coming back, can make you sick too. If you're gonna play in damp basements, use a dehumidifer or those moisture bags you hang. And put a wool dryer ball inside the amp cab to catch moisture.
