I've been searching for an amp for a while and I've always leaned towards fender. I want a rig with a clean twang sound but I also want it alittle grit for when I play solos or the odd dirtier riffs. I was really loving the vibrolux but is there a pedal or even another fender amp that would help me get what im looking for?

Many people will recommend the Deluxe Reverb Reissue. Personally, I prefer the Blues Deluxe Reissue or a 59 Bassman clone.

I've been a Fender tube amp guy since about 1964. Right now I have the reissue Deluxe Reverb and Twin Reverb amps as well as a Custom Vibrolux Reverb. And I love them all! But I also have the Mustang Floor and Mustang III V2 amp. If you want the most versatility for your money I can highly recommend the Mustang products. In particular the Mustang III V2, I just can't leave it alone, because it has superb models of the classic old Fender amps as well as the more modern Super Sonic amp, and excellent models of non-Fender amps, and about all the really important effects you will ever need. So you can get wonderful computer modeled versions of the great tube amps in a 100 watt package for about $329 instead of thousands of dollars spent for the others. Ther Eric Clapton Signature amp models are there and are alone in the thousands of dollars for them. Check them out...very cool!!

Yea w/that description the DRRI is almost a default recommendation here. I like mine well enough & it does what you're looking for jordan, just be aware that there's been complaints of late regarding the newest ones, so just be careful if you decide to go that direction. If you get a good one I think you'll be pleased.
