got a coupon for 15% off at g.c. yesterday. headed to the store and ordered a 112 tweed extension cabinet to go with my bdri. can't wait to here how they sound together.

as a bonus, I can use the cab with a lower wattage head for home practice.

should have it around Tuesday. i'll warn the neighbors

Very cool, being labor day weekend I'm sure there's gonna be quite a few NGD postings. Get ready to make some noise, that set up is gonna rock for sure. :D

Enjoy your new purchase. :D

If memory serves me correct, I think shimmilou uses the same cab with his HRD. I think he noted it to be fairly bassy. Maybe he will join in. Of course, I could be dreaming all of this.

Yes indeed, very bass heavy, lacking highs, especially when used by itself. Mine had the G12P80. I tried it with the back off, and the highs were better with less emphasis on the bass, but I ended up putting a Gold Label, from the BJr, in the cab to use it with the back on. This way, the HRDlx and the cab both had the same speaker, and the one in the cab still had better low-end than the one in the amp, and the combination of amp and cab sounds very nice. I put the G12P80 in the BJr and it sounds pretty-darned-good too.

Good deal phreddybee. I can't wait to hear your review, and see pics. I bet that it sounds great in combination with the BDRI. 8)

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.

picked it up yesterday 8) couldn't play it until this morning :(

my day off, wife is at work ( 8) (oops, sorry). anyway- boy does this add to the sound. I can't believe how open it feels. plus when I stand in front of it and crank the volume, the moving air feels like a fan and cools me off

it looks great sitting under the bdri, and i'm going to sign off, grab some lunch, and play some more
