Post subject: brand new super sonic 22 combo reverb doesn't work.

brand new super sonic 22 combo amp reverb doesn't work. Bought amp in texas had it shipped to Puerto Rico,it's to expensive to ship back any suggestions on possible cause of problem?

I have found that the thin copper wire on the small transducers on the spring inside the reverb tank can break at their solder joints.. Might want to check it...

Check tubes V3 (reverb driver) and V4 (reverb recovery) for proper operation. Make sure they are plugged in tight. Replace them with known working tubes. Check to make sure that reverb tank cables are plugged in and tight.

Only after you have done these two things should you pull the tank and check the internal wires as michaelbpuccio suggested. Do the easy things first.

If you don't understand what I am talking about, then you will need to either send the amp back or find a competent amp tech to look at the amp.
