Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I don't think I missed a post regarding Fender announcing the new SF Twin on their product page but it's there... http://www.fender.com/amps/guitar-amplifiers/68-custom-twin-reverb-120v/

The early onset gain would be my only concern... it'd be cool to have that on the modified channel but not the vintage channel. Perhaps I'm misreading the specs but it seems that it applies to both channels. I love the clean headroom of the TRRI and original Twins. A Twin that breaks up isn't a Twin... I'm all for touch sensitivity but I WANT MY CLEANS CLEAN!

All of them look killer (IMO)... I can't imagine justifying the purchase of a new amp but have to admit they look very tempting. It's cool to see so many new products from Fender. RI's like the Starcaster and Coranado, new American Special Models, and even a new Pawn Shop amp http://www.fender.com/series/pawn-shop-special/ramparte-120v/. Just when I thought my GAS was under control!!!

There are now pics of the new '68 SF Princeton and Deluxe... no pics of the Twin but it's official!

Twin, or Twin Reverb? Personally, at this point, I would prefer an early Twin over a Twin Reverb, as there is already a TRRI.

I meant the blackface and silverface "twins", not the Tweed ones... I've never had the good fortune to play one of the old tweed ones so have no idea how they sound or break up. Sorry for the confusion... In any event, I'll be curious to hear some reports on how these new silverface models sound. Cheers.

You mean Twin Reverb, not Twin. It would help avoid confusion by calling the amp what it is.

The Vintage Modified TR sure looks purty!

I wonder where they'll be making them? Here or over the border?

Last week the Tundra Music guy said they'd been to see them at Corona.
