Hello
I have a 1990's Hot Rod Deluxe that has developed a small problem I was playing through the drive channel and it started to cut out and finally quite working the clean channel works fine but the drive is dead cannot switch to it at all also the reverb went out as well. Thought someone may have experienced this as well would appreciate any suggestions before taking it to the shop

Hi Stratfredo27,

It is most likely a poor solder joint or broken trace around the 5 watt resistors (R78 or R79), or the Zeners (CR13 or CR14), in the +/- 16 volt power supply. This supply is for channel switching, and the op-amps for reverb and effects loop.

A common issue with the Hot Rod amps.
