I have a Blues Junior NOS and I find the speaker bottoms out when pushed, especially when I use my Fuzz Face, so I am looking into an Eminence Red, White and Blues or a Cannabis Rex. Both sound amazing to me, I am leaning towards the Red, White and Blues from the sound clips offered by Eminence. But anyone have experience with either and can offer their opinions.

I play Blues, Blues Rock and Classic Rock, Clapton, B.B King, SRV, Bonamassa, Eagles, ZZ Top, Stones, Skynyrd just so you know what music I plan on putting through these speakers :)

I have the cannabis rex in my blues junior and love it, but what you really need is a bigger cab for the amp.Image

I have the Cannabis Rex in my Junior and I like it. It helped take some of the Ice Pick factor out of the new Junior III Series.I took a while for it to break in.

Im very happy with the swamp than, but my other option would probably the CannibasRex.
You need as much low and as you can get withe the stock cabinet.
That speaker and the billm mods (including upgraded output transformer) will get you 90% there. The rest of the low end loss I have come to like since my amp really sounds crisp and clear live.

+1

You want a "big" sound out of a little amp?

That's the way it's done.
