Here's some tip for replacing the 5 watt resistors in the HRdlx.

Great article, and they did a good job of explaining why replacing the 470s with 330s is a horrible idea. Hopefully this will put that nonsense to rest.

+1 It never made sense to me to change those values without checking the voltages
on the schematic first unless you want to heat up your soup on those resistors. TDPRI is a great place for snobbery and misinformation. There are differences between the DeVille and Deluxe it's not the same amp with more speakers and wattage. I know I'm a dumbass from time to time, we all are, but if dumbasses were airplanes, TDPRI would be an airport. :shock:
