I just bought a new Blues Junior NOS from GC and G and C chords are real muddy, the bottom end flubs out and farts out, higher strings are fine but A and low E are real bad. Think it is just the speaker? I mean it is impossible to play clean because when you hit C and G it distorts and slowly fades out, and when playing say, Simple Man, the sound fades in and out. So speaker problem?

Likely the tubes are hosed.

Take it back for an exchange or a refund.

And do yourself a favor -- play the exact amp you are buying before leaving GC with it. If it flakes out during the demo, you've saved yourself another trip to the store.

I mean it is perfectly fine, beautiful tone, I can hit F, D chords but when I go to C and G it flubs out. When I play the high strings, it is strong, great tone good sustain but not on the Low E and A and sometimes D strongs

How do you have the controls set? If the higher notes are good but the lower ones bad, maybe you have the bass cranked up too high. How do you have the volume (gain) and master volume set? Have you tried a different guitar with the amp?

I have the Bass set to 5, and Master and Volume I tried multiple settings, and I played multiple guitars. Something I realized it that on say the bridge pickup is less noticeable but definitely still there, but say on the neck it is really bad.

I mean playing licks on High E, B, G, D is great, tone for days, both clean and dirty. Fat switch is incredible, but say switch to neck pickup is is real flobby, that the only way to decribe it, like I hit a note on low E it is flobby and dies quickly instead of holding.

Take your guitar and try another BJr. If it sounds better, then your amp has a problem. If it sounds the same, the problem is you or your guitar. I can think of no technical reason for what you are describing.

Well I contacted the GC where I bought it and the one who sold it to me, and hopefully I can get another one because the tone on that amp is amazing, but for instance, doing 12 bar blues, it is horrid, just total mud, flobby. I thought maybe speaker because it seems just on the lower registers so maybe it blew and cant handle the lower registers, but I am by no means an expert on amps. And it makes me nervous when someone who knows a lot and has helped in the past doesn't know an answer lol

You've received two answers from independent sources and both are substantially the same.

That you have some kind of issue with those responses is your problem and no one else's.

This reminds me of some moronic putz who buys a brand-new car, extols the virtues of the paint job and the leather interior to his neighbors, then sheepishly admits that he can't move it out of the garage because the rear axle fell off the day after delivery and he needs advice on what to do.

Take the sonofabitch back to the store and insist on a replacement or a refund.
