Just recieved a Humboldt Hot Rod Blues Jr. III from PGS. Great amp! I'm lovin' the tone!

Anyhow, looking at the manual it shows there are 3 12AX7 tubes, but they have two different Fender part numbers (2 of one number and 1 of the other) and I have to wonder what the difference is. Anyone know?

I believe two are 12ax7 and one is a 12at7(phase inverter). But I might be wrong

Oh and congrats on a your new amp.

All three are 12AX7s, but the phase inverter (V3) is balanced and has a different part number.
