1st question: I have read that the deville has an output for a second cabinet. I have looked it over pretty good and don't see one.

2nd question: The effects loop and proper usage. I have been trying to run my Mustang floor in it and something isn't right. Can someone tell me the proper wire routing?

Thank you . Shane.

Hi Shane3620,

The ext cab jack is right beside the main speaker jack on the bottom of the chassis. Just follow the combo speaker cable back to it's jack and look right beside that for the ext speaker jack.

The amp's Preamp Out connects to the input of effects (maybe labeled return?), and the output of the effects (maybe labeled send?) connects back to the amp's Power Amp in.

Some effects won't sound as good in the loop as they do into the input of the amp. Try both, as one way might sound better to you than the other.

Thank you Rockstar , I found the cabinet out. It's inside the amp. I guess I need to fiddle with the loop before practice. Every one gets impatient while I try to find my sound.

Yes , thank you. Now if I could figure out where to DL the amplitube that came with the Floor , I'd be a happy camper.

Did you read the owner's manual for the Mustang Floor?

http://support.fender.com/manuals/guita ... _rev-B.pdf

Page 2:

The basic Mustang™ Floor setup:
1. Plug the supplied power adapter into a grounded outlet.
2. Press the POWER switch to the "1" position to turn the Mustang
Floor on.
3. Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack.
4. Connect the input of your guitar amplifier or PA system to the
L UNBALANCED OUT jack –OR– plug your headphones into the
PHONES jack.
5. Turn the LEVEL knob to at least halfway up.

Page 7:

For the best results when connecting the Mustang Floor into the
INPUT jack on a guitar amplifier (rather than the power amp
input), set your amp as clean as possible using a low gain setting
and start with your BASS and TREBLE tone controls turned down
and your MID tone control turned up, then adjust as needed.

Nowhere in the manual that I can find does it say to connect the Floor to the effects loop of your amp. It is designed to plug in between the guitar output and amp input.

My point was that your username is not "Hobbyist", nor is mine "Rockstar", those are just ratings based on number of posts.

Well, now that all that is straightened out, I hope the OP will take the time to read and understand the owner's manual.
